San Francisco Art Institute Screening or ART and Revolutions

Standing next to a 1924 print showing Posada's famed calavera Catrina, Mexican Consul General in San Francisco, Dr. Andres Roemer, opened the Sept. 17 screening of Searching for Posada: ART and Revolutions. Over one hundred attendees consisting of artists, students, professors and the general public watched the documentary. The ensuing Question and Answer session with director Victor Mancilla and producer Jim Nikas lasted longer than the film itself. Mission accomplished!
